Lowe Coledale – Harmonizing Architecture and Landscape
In this project with Tameka Moffat Designs, N2Q Studio focused on expressing the calm essence of coastal living through light, material, and space.
We recreated natural coastal daylight with a warm, diffuse quality—mimicking early morning light to enhance serenity and realism. This careful lighting approach allowed the architecture to breathe and the landscape to soften around it.
Material details were finely tuned: white-painted timber, soft fabrics, and muted stone surfaces were rendered to reflect a refined, coastal palette—subtle yet full of texture and presence.
The spatial composition was considered from every angle. Exterior shots revealed layered massing and street presence, while interiors were framed to highlight openness, natural flow, and visual connection with greenery.
Each render was crafted not just as a visual, but as a tool for storytelling—helping convey intent clearly and emotionally to clients, councils, and collaborators.
